Skinboosters treatments can be thought of a skin filler treatment where tiny, micro-injections of hyaluronic acid are placed under the skin to give long lasting hydration. Hyaluronic acid is a water loving molecule that has the ability to attract water molecules 100-200x its weight to dramatically improve skin’s hydration from within. With improved skin hydration and new collagen formation in the skin, skin looks and feels younger.

Skinboosters introduce hyaluronic acid deep into your skin. These tiny drops of hyaluronic acid are placed under skin either using a Skinbooster injector gun or manually using fine needles by hand.

Almost anyone can benefit from

The face is numbed prior to starting Skinboosters so pain, if at all, is very minimal.

There may be transient skin redness, swelling and bruising- however, these are all reversible within a few days. You are able to return back to your work and daily activities after your Skinbooster treatment.

For best results, serial monthly Skinbooster injections for three months is advised.

Thereafter, you can look at maintenance of your skin’s hyaluronic acid and collagen levels every 6 or 12 months.

Skinboosters is a very safe treatment that is suitable for most people. You might experience mild swelling, bruising and fine needle marks. These reactions are transient and reversible.

There might also be small bumps on the skin due to the placement of these small droplets of hyaluronic acid under the skin.

These are also transient and your skin will normalise.

Skinboosters can be thought of as skin fillers, where tiny droplets of hyaluronic acid are injected into the skin to enhance skin hydration, brightening and reverse signs of aging. This is unlike conventional dermal fillers where larger volumes of hyaluronic acid or collagen stimulators are injected deeper into tissues like the cheeks, chin, temples and laugh lines to add volume; lift or ‘fill’ lines in the face.

Skinboosters do not change your facial appearance compared to dermal fillers which can enhance your facial contours and soften laugh lines.

Even though Skinboosters and dermal fillers both contain hyaluronic acid, the consistency of Skinboosters versus dermal fillers are very different. Skinboosters have a lower G’, and this makes Skinboosters softer and more suitable for placement under the skin where it will not be obvious looking. Dermal fillers on the other hand, tend to have a higher G’ and this makes them harder and more immobile so that they can sculpt the face or add volume to sunken parts of the face.
