While it is possible to get your dermal fillers removed, you should fully understand what this procedure entails and know that it’s a decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly.
What is hyaluronidase and how can it remove dermal fillers?
Firstly, it’s important to note that it’s much easier to remove dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid than from other substances. Removal of non-hyaluronic acid dermal fillers will require surgical interventions, while hyaluronic acid dermal fillers can be safely removed using hyaluronidase.
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that can be injected into the skin to remove or ‘dissolve’ dermal filler. It does this by degrading and breaking down the hyaluronic acid.
The results are immediate; however it can take days for final results to be seen and treatments may need to be repeated.
Hyaluronidase, mild | 200 د.إ | ||
Hyaluronidase, severe | 400 د.إ |
